Terms of Service
By downloading, installing, or using the HanziCue mobile application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on iOS devices that you own or control in accordance with these Terms and the usage rules set forth in Apple’s App Store Terms of Service.
The App’s code, assets, UI layouts, branding, and built-in curriculum content are the intellectual property of Rey (reyml.com) and are protected by copyright laws. You may not decompile, reverse engineer, or redistribute the App’s code or assets.
You retain ownership of any flashcard decks, packages, images, or files you import into the App (.apkg packages, CSV files, etc.). You represent that you have the right to use and import such content, and that it does not violate any third-party copyrights.
Some features, including Lock Screen widgets, require a HanziCue Pro purchase (Monthly subscription or Lifetime purchase). Payments are charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscriptions in your App Store Account Settings.
The App is provided "as-is" and "as-available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the App will meet your expectations or operate error-free.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall we be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use or inability to use the App, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction of the App publisher, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
