This policy covers the sandboxed Clearspace app and its TestFlight builds, developed by Reynol Martinez de Lara.

Local processing

Clearspace processes names, paths, sizes, filesystem metadata and application information locally to display findings and revalidate selections. It does not upload files or scan results. There is no account system, advertising, analytics SDK or app-operated network service.

Local storage

Preferences and security-scoped bookmarks remember settings and granted locations. Cleanup receipts store paths and metadata needed for History and supported restore operations in the app’s local container. Forget access removes saved grants without deleting or restoring files; it does not erase receipts. If you export a report, you choose where to save it and whether to share it.

File access and changes

Access is granted through the macOS folder picker. Manual scanning is the default; scan on launch is optional. Cleanup, restore and separately confirmed permanent removal are local filesystem operations. Trash is managed by macOS.

Apple services

Apple handles purchases, distribution and TestFlight. Apple may collect diagnostics and beta feedback under its policies and your settings, and make applicable reports available to the developer. Clearspace has no separate crash-reporting SDK. See Apple’s privacy information.

Support

If you email support, we receive your email address, message and attachments. We use them to respond and troubleshoot, not for advertising or sale. Avoid sensitive attachments. You may request deletion of correspondence, subject to records we must retain for legitimate legal or security reasons.

This website

These pages contain no analytics scripts, advertising scripts or cookies. The server may process standard request information, including IP address, browser information and requested URL, to deliver and secure the site. External destinations have their own policies.
